WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — Lycoming College's soccer student-athletes delivered a dominant performance Tuesday, defeating visiting Wilkes University 6-0 in a one-sided NCAA Division III matchup that showcased the stark difference between the two programs' current trajectories.
Leandro Cruz opened the scoring in the 4th minute, assisted by Kevin Kouassi, setting an early tone that Lycoming would maintain throughout. Thomas Geyer extended the lead to 2-0 in the 39th minute before halftime. After the break, Owen Magee made it 3-0 in the 46th minute, followed by Xavier Dandridge's goal in the 67th minute. Tyler Ruch added the fifth goal in the 84th minute, with Cole Sharpnack converting a penalty kick in the 85th minute to seal the comprehensive victory.
