Olivia Hudson opened scoring in the 56th minute, assisted by Julia Tavares and Sydney Linus, giving Lock Haven a 1-0 lead. Maci Shaffer doubled the advantage in the 59th minute to seal the result. The goals came during a stretch where Lock Haven controlled possession and limited Shippensburg's attacking opportunities.
