GARDEN CITY, N.Y. — Franklin Pierce overwhelmed Adelphi 4-1 on Saturday, November 1, in a decisive NCAA Division II matchup. The visiting Ravens controlled the first half with three goals before halftime, establishing command that Adelphi could never challenge. Franklin Pierce's offensive efficiency proved decisive in extending its winning streak to one game.

Stepan Fiker opened scoring in the 7th minute, assisted by Borja Blazquez and Manuel Lorenzo. Guillermo Rios doubled the lead in the 9th minute with help from Guillermo Avendano and Blazquez. Joao Araujo added a third goal in the 29th minute, assisted by Fiker, giving Franklin Pierce a commanding 3-0 halftime advantage. Richard DeBrosse scored Adelphi's lone goal in the 87th minute.

Franklin Pierce's dominance extended beyond the scoreline. The Ravens generated 10 shots on goal and 15 total attempts compared to Adelphi's 3 and 6 respectively. Franklin Pierce also earned five corner kicks while Adelphi managed none. Goalkeeper saves favored the home side 7-2, reflecting Adelphi's limited offensive opportunities throughout the contest.

The match featured disciplined play from both squads, with each team receiving two yellow cards. DJ Tucker drew yellow for Franklin Pierce in the 1st minute, while Nathan Donahue received one late in the second half. Adelphi's Rory Duggan and Saul Cardozo each earned cautions during the match.
