ERIE, Pa. — Gannon overwhelmed visiting Edinboro 3-0 on Wednesday, extending its regional powerhouse status with a commanding second-half display. The Knights controlled possession throughout but broke through decisively after halftime, with Olivia Dixon and Ella Fadale combining for all three goals to improve to 14-1-1 on the season.

The first half remained scoreless despite Gannon's territorial advantage. The home side generated multiple scoring opportunities, with shots from Ella Fadale, Grace Emanuel, Olivia Dixon, and Jessie Watkins all missing the target. Edinboro's defense held firm through 45 minutes, though the Fighting Scots managed only two shots on goal in the opening period.

Gannon's breakthrough came in the 68th minute when Olivia Dixon finished after an assist from June Monasterio, finally converting the pressure into a goal. Dixon struck again in the 72nd minute from a free kick awarded after Jillian Kalic's unsporting conduct yellow card, doubling the lead. Ella Fadale sealed the victory in the 79th minute, assisted by Grace Emanuel, as Gannon's offensive dominance translated into a decisive margin.

The Knights' superiority was evident in the statistics. Gannon recorded 23 shot attempts to Edinboro's four, with 11 shots on goal compared to the visitors' two. The home team also dominated set pieces, earning 14 corner kicks versus one for Edinboro. Gannon's goalkeeper made just two saves while Edinboro's keeper recorded eight stops in a losing effort.
