Wilmington Dominates Chestnut Hill 7-2 Behind Offensive Onslaught

WILMINGTON, Del. — Wilmington (DE) overwhelmed visiting Chestnut Hill 7-2 on Wednesday, extending its winning streak to two games with a dominant offensive performance. The Wildcats, now 9-2-4 overall, controlled the match from start to finish, outshooting the Griffins 27-10 while capitalizing on early opportunities to build an insurmountable lead.

Theo Faillon opened scoring in the 17th minute, assisted by Jacques Mason, giving Wilmington an early advantage. Alex Tarway doubled the lead four minutes later with another Mason assist, establishing the home team's attacking rhythm. Jhamaleek Porter extended the advantage to 3-0 in the 24th minute off Isaak Simic's setup, then added his second goal in the 30th minute with help from Faillon and Tarway as Wilmington's offensive firepower overwhelmed Chestnut Hill's defense.

Shuntaro Morimoto scored in the 50th minute, assisted by Faillon, pushing the advantage to 5-0 early in the second half. Michiharu Takanashi made it 6-0 in the 51st minute with Tarway providing the assist. Jiung Ha capped the Wilmington scoring in the 55th minute off Faillon's assist, establishing a commanding 7-0 advantage before Chestnut Hill mounted a late offensive push.
