Luke Parker opened scoring in the 4th minute, assisted by Bryan Ortiz, giving Vanguard an immediate advantage. Robert Ronco doubled the lead in the 8th minute, and the Lions' relentless attack continued throughout the first half. Adan Alvarado extended the margin to 3-0 in the 29th minute, followed by Anthony Medina's goal in the 30th minute with an assist from Alvarado.
