BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — Bridgeport defeated Adelphi 2-1 on Wednesday, snapping a two-game winless streak with a second-half surge. The Purple Knights broke through a scoreless first half to secure their fourth victory of the season before a regional conference matchup.

Samuel Dundas opened scoring for Bridgeport in the 35th minute, capitalizing on Adelphi's defensive vulnerabilities late in the first half.
