SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. — Shepherd rallied from a two-goal deficit to defeat Shippensburg 4-3 on Wednesday, capturing a crucial road victory that snapped a two-match losing streak for the visiting Rams. Josh Petty converted a penalty kick in the 75th minute to secure the win, lifting Shepherd to 7-9 overall while dropping the hosts to 3-8-4.

Shippensburg controlled the first half, with Liam Heitmann opening the scoring in the 20th minute off an assist from Ethan Omondi. Nate Herb extended the lead to 2-0 in the 43rd minute, assisted by Cam Henry, giving the hosts a commanding advantage heading into intermission.

Shepherd emerged with renewed intensity after halftime. Ron Abarjel pulled the Rams within one in the 47th minute with Aaron Sullivan providing the assist. The momentum shifted dramatically when Shippensburg's defense committed an own goal in the 49th minute, leveling the match at 2-2.
