SAN DIEGO, Calif. — Point Loma defeated Azusa Pacific 2-1 on Wednesday, extending its winning streak to two games with a second-half surge. The Sea Lions, riding a 10-3-1 record, broke through after halftime to secure the victory over the struggling Cougars, who fall to 4-8-3.

The first half remained scoreless despite multiple chances for both teams. Azusa Pacific's Luis Solis and Osmin Carranza generated opportunities, while Point Loma's Gael Ruiz and Cole Friesen tested the opposing defense.
