GREENSBURG, Pa. — Seton Hill defeated California (PA) 2-0 on Wednesday, extending its winning streak to two matches. The Griffins broke through a scoreless first half with two second-half goals to secure the victory on the road against the struggling Vulcans.
Seton Hill improved to 9-5-1 overall with the shutout performance, while California (PA) fell to 2-11-1 and extended its losing streak to nine consecutive matches. The Griffins dominated possession throughout, outshooting the Vulcans 19-3 with six shots on goal compared to California's one.
Vasilis Christodoulo opened the scoring in the 54th minute, assisted by Tristan Wilson and Blaise Verrastro. James Aubrey sealed the result with a goal in the 70th minute, also assisted by Wilson and Christodoulo.
