DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Fla. Southern snapped a two-game losing streak Wednesday, dominating Embry-Riddle (FL) 3-1 in a Division II regional matchup. The Moccasins (5-7-2, 2-6-1 conference) controlled the first half and converted early opportunities to build a commanding lead before the Eagles (2-12-2) mounted a late consolation goal.

Joao Lopes opened the scoring in the 9th minute, assisted by Dylan Lowther, giving the visitors an early advantage. Tim Baierlein doubled the lead in the 55th minute with another Lowther assist, establishing a 2-0 cushion that proved decisive.
