LA MIRADA, Calif. — CUI's regional powerhouse credentials strengthened Wednesday with a dominant 2-0 shutout victory over Biola, extending the Golden Eagles' winning streak to two matches. The Golden Eagles (10-2-4) broke through early when Barrett found the back of the net in the 2nd minute, assisted by Elle Soleau and Kalli Cho. CUI's aggressive start set the tone against a Biola squad struggling through a three-match losing streak. The Eagles' defense proved suffocating, limiting the Eagles to seven shot attempts despite Biola's seven corner kicks.
