VIRGINIA — Lynchburg dismantled Hollins 9-0 on Thursday, delivering a dominant performance that showcased the visitor's offensive depth. The Hornets (10-5-3) overwhelmed the home squad (3-12-1) with relentless attacking pressure, recording 22 shots on goal compared to Hollins' single attempt.

Lauren Orner opened scoring in the 15th minute, assisted by Morgan Oliver, setting the tone for a lopsided first half. Madelyn Boyce doubled the lead four minutes later off another Oliver assist before Grace Gaskins extended Lynchburg's advantage to 3-0 in the 21st minute. Sadie Bruton added a fourth goal in the 23rd minute with Hannah Phillips providing the assist, while Phillips herself scored in the 25th minute off a Gaskins assist to make it 5-0 at halftime.

The second-half onslaught continued unabated. Morgan Oliver scored in the 50th minute, assisted by Orner, giving Lynchburg a 6-0 advantage. Catey Paulette extended the margin to 7-0 in the 76th minute with Samantha Mitchell setting up the goal. Mitchell then scored directly in the 78th minute before Iara Moscovich capped the scoring in the 80th minute, assisted by Erin Anroman.
