GAINESVILLE, FLORIDA — Florida Tech shut out Lynn 2-0 on Wednesday, extending its winning streak to one game while handing the Fighting Knights their second consecutive loss. The Panthers controlled possession throughout and capitalized on their opportunities to secure the victory before a home crowd.

Ellinor Blaasternes opened the scoring in the 34th minute, assisted by Rio Naganawa, giving Florida Tech an early advantage. The goal came during a dominant first-half performance by the home side, which generated consistent pressure on Lynn's defense. Despite trailing, Lynn created chances of its own, with Arianna Kinsley and Maiya Barbar testing Florida Tech's goalkeeper but unable to find the back of the net.

Sara Batchadji added Florida Tech's second goal in the 66th minute, sealing the result and ending any hopes of a Lynn comeback. The Panthers' defense remained resolute throughout the second half, limiting the Fighting Knights' attacking opportunities and preserving the clean sheet.

Florida Tech's shot advantage proved decisive, outshooting Lynn 17-10 overall and 6-7 on shots on goal. The Panthers' goalkeeper made seven saves to secure the shutout, while Lynn's keeper recorded four stops in a losing effort. Both teams earned five corner kicks each, but neither capitalized on the set-piece opportunities.

The victory improves Florida Tech to 8-3-5 overall following a disappointing loss to Eckerd last week. The Panthers demonstrated the attacking prowess needed to compete in their regional conference, with multiple players contributing to the offensive pressure. Lynn, meanwhile, falls to 2-9-4 and remains win
