The Tigers' regional powerhouse squad controlled the contest from start to finish, outshooting the home team 21-12 with 13 shots on goal compared to Ouachita Baptist's five.
Juan Linares opened the scoring in the 10th minute, giving Fort Hays St. an early advantage. Linares added a second goal in the 26th minute, establishing a commanding 2-0 lead before halftime despite Ouachita Baptist's defensive efforts.
Dylan Ashford extended Fort Hays St.'s advantage to 3-0 in the 52nd minute during the second half. Agustin Ayala sealed the victory with a fourth goal in the 71st minute, putting the match beyond reach.
