LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA — Flagler dominated USC Aiken 4-1 on Wednesday, extending its winning streak to two matches. The Saints, ranked among regional powerhouses at 10-2-5, overwhelmed the Pacers with a devastating second-half offensive display that proved decisive in the NCAA Division II matchup.

Lenz Trubenbacher opened scoring in the 29th minute, assisted by Luke Williams, giving Flagler an early advantage. USC Aiken equalized just before halftime when Rafael Reno converted in the 41st minute off assists from Riad Zitouni and Rafael Kawata, setting up a competitive second half.

The match shifted dramatically after intermission. Filip Hornburg broke the tie in the 69th minute with a finish assisted by Owen Cunha, then struck again just 31 seconds later to extend Flagler's lead to 3-1. Luke Williams sealed the victory with a fourth goal in the 78th minute, assisted by Tim Wahlborg.

Hornburg's consecutive goals proved the turning point, showcasing Flagler's offensive depth and clinical finishing when opportunities emerged. The forward's two-goal burst within half a minute effectively ended any comeback hopes for the home side.

Flagler's dominance extended beyond the scoreline. The Saints generated 27 shot attempts compared to USC Aiken's 15, with 13 shots on goal versus nine for the Pacers. Flagler also commanded the corner-kick battle, earning nine to USC Aiken's four. Goalkeeper Ryan Rivas
