WAYNE, N.J. — Post University extended its winning streak to two matches with a 2-0 victory over visiting Caldwell on Wednesday evening. The Eagles controlled the first half, scoring twice to secure the shutout victory and improve to 6-0-7 overall.

Pablo Tenorio opened the scoring in the 1st minute, assisted by Matheus Milagres and Lukas Glade, giving Post an immediate advantage. Beau Pomeroy doubled the lead at 35:41, also assisted by Mohammad Sanyang and Milagres, effectively deciding the match before halftime.

Post dominated possession and created consistent scoring opportunities throughout the opening 45 minutes. The Eagles' attacking movement forced Caldwell into a defensive posture, limiting the Cougars' ability to generate offensive rhythm. Caldwell managed only four shots on goal compared to Post's seven, reflecting the home team's territorial superiority.

Caldwell (4-8-3) struggled to find attacking rhythm despite earning six corner kicks. The Cougars' defense was tested repeatedly, with Post's midfield controlling the tempo and dictating play. Caldwell goalkeeper made five saves to keep the deficit manageable, though the early deficit proved insurmountable.

Post made wholesale substitutions at halftime, rotating six players to manage fatigue and maintain squad depth. Caldwell countered with multiple changes of their own, attempting to inject fresh energy into their attack. The second half saw more balanced play, though Post's two-goal cushion allowed the Eagles to manage the match without urgency.

The Eagles' defense remained resolute throughout
