BIRMINGHAM, Alabama — Lee controlled the second half to defeat Union (TN) 4-1 on Friday, October 31st in NCAA Division II action. The Flames broke open a scoreless first half with four goals after intermission, establishing themselves as a regional powerhouse with the decisive victory.

The opening 45 minutes remained tightly contested with neither team finding the net. Lee generated more attacking pressure with 11 shot attempts compared to Union (TN)'s three, but the Bulldogs' defense held firm through the first half. The stalemate set the stage for a dramatic second-half performance that would determine the match.

Megan Davis opened the scoring for Lee in the 28th minute, assisted by Lucy Smith and Analisa Lujan.
