VALDOSTA, Ga. — Delta St. claimed a 2-1 victory at Valdosta St. on Friday, extending its winning streak to one game while handing the hosts their first loss in three matches. The visiting Lady Statesmen (6-5-4, 5-3-3 conference) overcame an early deficit to secure the road triumph before a regional audience.

Chloe Colquhoun completed the comeback in the 60th minute, assisted by Hooker, to give Delta St. a 2-1 lead they would not relinquish. The quick succession of goals in the second half demonstrated the visitors' superior attacking cohesion after halftime.

Delta St. dominated possession metrics throughout the contest, recording 12 shot attempts compared to Valdosta St.'s five. The visitors also held a 6-3 advantage in corner kicks, reflecting their sustained pressure on the home defense. Valdosta St.'s goalkeeper made six saves to keep the deficit manageable.
