The scholar-athletes from the home team controlled the match throughout, outshooting their Division III opponents 15-2 while maintaining offensive pressure across both halves.

Hannah Greene opened scoring for JWU Charlotte in the 13th minute, assisted by Olivia Kieffer, giving the hosts an early advantage.
