OLYMPIA, Wash. — College of Idaho dominated Evergreen (WA) 5-2 on Friday, October 31st, with a second-half explosion that turned a tight contest into a rout. The Yotes scored four goals after halftime to secure the road victory before a modest crowd.
Evan Dickinson opened the scoring in the 28th minute with a header from 13 yards following a free kick assist by Pierre Fabre, giving College of Idaho an early 1-0 lead. Evergreen (WA) equalized just three minutes later when Alejandro Gallegos scored off a corner kick from Cooper Davis at 31:44, knotting the match at 1-1 heading into the break.
College of Idaho seized control after halftime. Keidin Green restored the lead in the 45th minute with a shot from 18 yards, assisted by Sawyer Luthy. Pierre Fabre extended the advantage to 3-1 just 90 seconds later with a 33-yard strike at 47:46.
Green struck again in the 70th minute, tapping in at the left post following a corner kick from Fabre to make it 4-1. Nico Erlank capped the offensive display with a close-range finish in the 73rd minute, assisted by Green, pushing the lead to 5-1.
