EUGENE, Oregon — Carroll (MT) dominated Bushnell (OR) with a 3-0 victory on Friday, breaking open a scoreless first half with three second-half goals. The Saints controlled possession throughout and capitalized on Bushnell's defensive vulnerabilities to secure the road win.
Pedro Teixeira opened the scoring in the 12th minute, assisted by Felix Billard, giving Carroll an early advantage. The goal came after the Saints had created multiple chances in the opening minutes, with Sean Balen forcing saves from Bushnell goalkeeper William Haberfield in the 16th and 18th minutes.
Felix Billard extended Carroll's lead to 2-0 from the penalty spot in the 45th minute, doubling the advantage just before halftime. The penalty conversion gave the Saints momentum heading into the break and effectively decided the match.
