William Holum opened the scoring in the 20th minute before Fredrik Moen sealed the result late, extending Quinnipiac's winning streak to two matches.

Holum gave Quinnipiac the lead at 19:59 of the first half, capitalizing on early pressure from the home side. The goal came after sustained attacking play, though Niagara's defense managed to keep the match level through most of the opening 45 minutes. Niagara faced a significant setback in the 51st minute when Juan Cardona received a red card for serious foul play, reducing the Purple Eagles to 10 men. The numerical disadvantage proved decisive, as Quinnipiac controlled the remainder of the match. Moen added an insurance goal in the 89th minute, assisted by Andrew Monteserin, putting the result beyond doubt.
