PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA — UAB extended its winning streak to two matches with a 2-0 victory over Temple on Sunday, November 2, 2025. The Blazers controlled the first half and broke through late to secure the road win, improving to 6-7-2 overall while Temple fell to 1-13-2 amid a nine-game losing streak.

The match remained scoreless through most of the first 45 minutes despite UAB's territorial advantage. The Blazers generated multiple scoring opportunities, with Humphrey Doh recording a blocked shot in the third minute and Frederik Danslet missing wide in the 16th minute. Temple offered little offensive threat, with Harrison Dandridge's attempt in the 87th minute of the first half proving the home side's best chance before halftime.

UAB finally broke the deadlock in the 38th minute when Lucas Rizzo converted from close range, assisted by Lucas Nordin. The goal came after sustained pressure from the visiting attack and proved to be the catalyst for the Blazers' dominance. Rizzo doubled the advantage just three minutes later in the 41st minute, again benefiting from Nordin's service to seal the match's outcome well before the final whistle.

Temple made wholesale changes at halftime, substituting five players including goalkeeper Elliot Rigbert and defenders Teo Strand and Paolo Kampula. The adjustments failed to generate offensive momentum, however, as the Owls managed just one shot on goal for the entire match.
