DENVER, Colo. — Regis (CO) defeated Fort Lewis 3-1 on Sunday, extending its winning streak to three consecutive victories. The Rangers broke open a tight contest after halftime with three unanswered goals to secure the regional victory.

Francisco Pinto gave Fort Lewis an early advantage in the 47th minute, assisted by Alessio Andreottola and Lorenz Guintini. The goal proved short-lived as Thomas Devonport equalized for Regis just nine minutes later in the 56th minute, assisted by Elias Taubo.

Jason Robles put Regis ahead in the 66th minute with an unassisted goal. Abram Wilson sealed the victory in the 89th minute, assisted by Jacobo Betancourt-Tovar, as the Rangers controlled the final stretch.

Regis dominated possession with 14 shot attempts compared to Fort Lewis's 11, converting three of eight shots on goal. Both teams recorded five saves, though the Rangers' efficiency in the second half proved decisive. Fort Lewis committed eight corner kicks to Regis's six but couldn't capitalize on the opportunities.

The loss snapped Fort Lewis's two-game winning streak, dropping the Skiers to 8-5-4 overall. Regis improved to 7-5-4 with the victory, maintaining momentum in conference play.

Fort Lewis next faces Adams State on the road, while Regis hosts Colorado School of Mines on Wednesday evening as both teams pursue regional tournament positioning.
