RAPID CITY, South Dakota — South Dakota Mines dominated Adams St. 5-1 on Sunday, breaking open the match with four goals in the first half. The Hardrockers improved to 7-7-3 with the decisive victory, while Adams St. fell to 1-14-1 and extended its losing streak to 11 games.

Erik Castanon opened scoring in the 10th minute, assisted by Jacob Miklas. Bergen Loveless doubled the lead moments later at 10:12, set up by Julen Arteaga. Nickolas North extended the advantage to 3-0 in the 18th minute. Arteaga added his own goal in the 19th minute to give South Dakota Mines a commanding 4-0 halftime lead.

Avery Richards provided Adams St.'s lone goal in the 52nd minute, breaking a scoreless second half for the visitors. North sealed the victory with his second goal in the 65th minute, assisted by Miklas.
