CORVALLIS, OREGON — Oregon St. overwhelmed Santa Clara 6-0 on Sunday, November 2, delivering a dominant performance that showcased the Beavers' offensive firepower and defensive organization. The home side controlled the match from start to finish, outshooting the Broncos 22-7 overall and 10-3 on target to secure a convincing victory in NCAA Division I play.

Arnau Farnos opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 34th minute after Jackson Ozburn fouled him in the box. Farnos converted the spot kick to the lower right corner, giving Oregon St. a 1-0 halftime lead. The Beavers' early breakthrough set the tone for a second half in which they would pull away decisively.

Iker Carbonell doubled the lead in the 62nd minute with a right-footed finish into the lower right corner. The midfielder struck again just seven minutes later in the 69th minute, this time assisted by Diego Rodriguez and goalkeeper John Nicolson, to extend Oregon St.'s advantage to 3-0. Carbonell's two-goal performance highlighted the Beavers' clinical finishing in the second half.

Tate Richards added a fourth goal in the 67th minute, assisted by Diego Rodriguez and Lucas Fernandez-Kim, before Rodriguez himself found the net in the 80th minute. Rodriguez's finish into the upper right corner, set up by Massimo Meneses and Joseph Ogwang, capped the scoring at 6-0. The Beavers' balanced attack featured contributions from multiple players, preventing Santa Clara from establishing any defensive rhythm.

Oregon St. dominated possession and territorial control throughout, earning eight corner kicks compared to Santa Clara's three. John Nicolson made three saves in goal for the Beavers, while Santa Clara's goalkeeper recorded four saves despite the lopsided scoreline. The Broncos managed only three shots on goal, unable to generate sustained offensive pressure against Oregon St.'s organized backline.

Santa Clara received four yellow cards for unsporting conduct, including cautions to Diego Diaz, Baronyi Kengeye, Alen Begovic, and Andrew Sullivan. Oregon St. drew two yellow cards, with Tate Richards and Joseph Ogwang cautioned during the match. The disciplinary disparity reflected the Broncos' frustration as the deficit mounted.
