NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Union (TN) and Trevecca Nazarene played to a 2-2 draw on Sunday, extending both teams' struggles in NCAA Division II regional competition. The visiting Trojans (3-7-6) and host Nazarenes (6-7-3) traded goals throughout the match, with neither team able to secure the decisive advantage before a crowd at Trevecca's facility.

Christian Harjanne gave Union (TN) an early lead in the 24th minute, putting the Trojans ahead in their regional tournament hopes. Trevecca responded before halftime when Daniel Shiel equalized in the 47th minute, assisted by Tom Hooper, to level the contest heading into the break.

The Nazarenes took their first lead in the 56th minute when Jack Franklin scored off another Shiel assist, appearing poised to claim the victory. Union (TN) refused to fold, however, as Noel Pataki netted the equalizer in the 84th minute to secure the draw and keep the Trojans' postseason hopes alive.

Both teams generated identical offensive pressure, recording eight shots on goal and eight corner kicks each. Union (TN) took 17 total shot attempts compared to Trevecca's 16, while both goalkeepers made six saves in an evenly contested affair. The Trojans committed five yellow cards to Trevecca's three.

The result leaves Union (TN) searching for consistency after dropping a 3-1 decision at Lee on October 31st. T
