Swan opened the scoring in the fifth minute, finishing expertly after Jacopo Fedrizzi and Palmer Ault's intricate passing sequence carved through Rutgers' backline. Twelve minutes later, Swan struck again, converting another Fedrizzi assist with a clinical low finish to make it 2-0.
The second half became a procession. Ault scored himself in the fiftieth minute, meeting Charlie Heuer's dangerous cross with a powerful header.
