BLOOMINGTON, INDIANA – Fifth-ranked Indiana demolished Rutgers 5-0 Thursday night before 2,236 fans at Bill Armstrong Stadium, with Colton Swan's first-half brace setting the tone for a comprehensive Hoosiers victory.

Swan opened the scoring in the fifth minute, finishing expertly after Jacopo Fedrizzi and Palmer Ault's intricate passing sequence carved through Rutgers' backline. Twelve minutes later, Swan struck again, converting another Fedrizzi assist with a clinical low finish to make it 2-0.

The second half became a procession. Ault scored himself in the fiftieth minute, meeting Charlie Heuer's dangerous cross with a powerful header. Three minutes later, Clay Murador added a fourth with a composed finish from close range. Breckin Minzey completed the rout in the fifty-eighth minute, converting after excellent buildup play from Ault and Cristiano Bruletti.

Indiana's dominance showed in the statistics—thirteen shots with nine on target compared to Rutgers' nine attempts and single shot on frame. The Scarlet Knights' frustration manifested in two yellow cards as the match slipped away.

The victory improves Indiana to 12-5-1 overall and 5-5 in Big Ten play. Rutgers falls to 8-6-3 and 3-5-2 in conference, exposed defensively despite earning six corner kicks that produced no genuine threats.
