Scott opened scoring in the 8th minute before Alyssa Clark equalized four minutes later for Western Oregon. Ally Beavers restored Simon Fraser's lead in the 45th minute, but the visitors fought back to level at 2-2 in the 59th minute.
Cici Garcia delivered the decisive blow in the 86th minute, finishing what proved to be the winner. Simon Fraser outshot Western Oregon 19-16 overall and 10-6 on target while earning nine corners to the visitors' six.
The victory improves third-seeded Simon Fraser to 14-2-5 (9-2-3 conference), while Western Oregon falls to 11-5-5 (8-2-4 conference), suffering their second consecutive defeat.
