Top-seeded Stanford overwhelmed eighth-seeded Alabama 7-3 before 2,076 fans, advancing in the NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Championship behind a balanced attacking display that saw five different goal scorers.

Jasmine Aikey opened scoring in the third minute off Mia Bhuta's assist, capitalizing on early pressure. Alabama responded when Gianna Paul equalized in the 11th minute with assists from Kiley Kukan and Larkin Thomason, but the reprieve proved brief. Andrea Kitahata restored Stanford's lead in the 17th minute, finishing a sequence involving Eleanor Klinger and Aikey.

The first half turned into a shootout. Madeline Padelski converted Kukan's service in the 33rd minute to pull Alabama within 2-2, but Elise Evans struck before halftime off Charlotte Kohler's assist to give Stanford a 3-2 advantage.

Evans extended the lead early in the second half, completing her brace in the 48th minute with assists from Kohler and Shae Harvey. Paul's unassisted goal in the 53rd minute briefly kept Alabama's hopes alive at 4-3, but Stanford's quality ultimately prevailed.

The Cardinal pulled away decisively in the final 20 minutes. Aikey completed her brace in the 73rd minute, Y-Lan Nguyen converted Brooke Holden's assist in the 87th, and Allie Montoya capped the scoring in the 90th minute.

Stanford dominated statistically, outshooting Alabama 40-5 overall with 22 shots on target. Alabama goalkeeper Coralie Lallier made 15 saves but faced relentless pressure throughout. The Cardinal improved to 18-1-2 and will face fifth-seeded BYU next in the championship round.
